Tom Stephan is President and a Principal of Talon Performance Group, Inc. For nearly ten years, as Vice President of Legal Liaisons, Ltd., Tom assisted corporate legal departments and law firm clients with their strategic hiring needs. Understanding the changing dynamics and needs of its clients, Tom lead the development of Legal Liaisons, Ltd.’s services and its evolution into a unique business model that has become Talon Performance Group, a new kind of company servicing the legal market.

Tom brings an international perspective to the firm, having studied and practiced law in France and Germany for over six years. Tom also instructed law at the Free University of Berlin and worked with the German law firm of Sigle, Loose, Schmidt-Diemitz and Partner. Later, he joined the New York based firm of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, practicing international business law in the firm’s Frankfurt office.

Tom’s legal experience also includes practicing corporate business law in the U.S. as in-house counsel for several international companies until forming Legal Liaisons, Ltd. with Jodi Standke in 1999. Tom is a graduate of the Hamline University School of Law and received his B.A. in French from Gustavus Adolphus College. Tom is fluent in French and German.
